Accountant Accounts Payable (m/f)

Duties

• Produces supplier reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Perform and record payments after assuring the supporting documentation is fiscally valid and legitimate
• Be in contact with suppliers to get statements & provide feedback on payments and other arising supplier issues
• Liaises with Purchasing to make sure that the accounting codes are accurate and outstanding documents are received in a timely manner
• Review agreements with vendors / suppliers to account strictly as per agreement
• Accurate & timely archiving of office documents
• Supports the monthly reconciliation of the accounts payable subledger to the general ledger
• Travel to Pemba and/or Other as deemed appropriate to speed up the obtention of official documents and/or other requirements
• Others as deemed necessary by the line manager

Requisites

• Master/Bachelor of Accounts
• OCCAM Membership (desired)
• A minimum of 1 up to 3 years proven experience
